"Eye Has Not Seen, Nor Ear Heard..."

Paul tells us that man can not arrive at a knowledge of the Will of God through observation, nor through Intuition. I Corinthians 2:9-11

Because Man is not a mind-reader, God sent the Spirit to reveal to man the will of God. This is the main reason why most people will never acquire a knowledge of the will of God. Many people are only willing to accept what they can see with their eyes and touch with their hands. Many others place too much respect in their own wisdom and the emotions of their hearts. Neither of these two kinds of people are willing to sacrifice their natural perspective to acquire knowledge which is not of the natural realm.

The man who lives by faith in the assurances of God is willing to base his understanding solely upon the word of God, without observing visible evidence or relying upon their heart. Hebrews 11:13

However if a person is unwilling to sacrifice observation, intuition and natural wisdom, he can not accept the testimony of the scriptures because they do not belong to the natural realm. I Corinthians 2:14
